My Mate is a painter and decorator and he told me that you can never get rid of a run unless you let it totally dry then carefully cut it down with a stanley knife blade. Then rub down with fine finishing paper, leave for a couple of days and then re-paint.

I know how your feeling, I repainted my Lister D tank about 6 times. paint kept running in one place. I was shitty for days about it, as everything else was perfect. @:*&%$£""" Engines !!!!

Getting slower as the month goes on mate. Been so Busy with police, I have done nothing since I posted the pictures of the Trolley. Have given the police nearly 60 hours already this month. Had one Christmas work party in penzance last week (had hangover from hell), Police xmas party this saturday (massive hangover expected!!!), and final work party on the 23rd (Deffinate hangover expected!!!!), I am also out on duty with police on the 22nd, 24th 27th 30th and 31st. So pretty busy at the moment. LOL!!

Hoping to make some good progress over the christmas break and January. Still got the following to do:

Final coat of paint on H2 pump
Mount pump to trolley
Make stainless water tanks x 2
Assemble tank to H2 pump
Finish trolley for reverse drive Lister D and domestic pump.
get d & pump mounted on said trolley and assemble pipes.
Make better trolley for Lister A and swop over.
Re paint Lister A to correct colour and fix on waterslide transfers.

Then If I get any where near finishing that lot, I have to get two JAP's working for the kids and then start work on my 1936 Petter A and Union bench grider.

Fun fun fun....................

cheers

Mart.
