hi i need to remove the belt pulley and flywheel for cleaning purposes and painting i done my home work and to be honest its all over my head i need a bit of help on how to do this. i have purchase the lister d restoration book and read the book over and over but i still cant get my head round it if any has any ideas ill loveto hear them and pictures would help me out loads ill post pictures tomorrow of what i have. thanks hope to get some advice

you need to speak to the doctor Mr Lister (IAN WEBB) hes the feller to sort you problem for you
pity your not closer to him,as he does do home visits...lol
give him a PM and see what he says....

Getting the flywheel off is normally the worst part of any restoration, you need to get the keyway out. You could do with giving it a good soaking in releasing fluid, try and get something like Plus gas rather then use WD40.

or some good old diesel .... may require a soaking for a good few weeks though
