Recardo developed cylinder head. apparently better than the standard.

when did they make those, so daft question is recardo a different make or just a model, and if it is a different make, is the crank case still a lister ?

It's still a Lister with a ricardo developed head (deeper spark plug I think?). Recardo are engine "improvers", Lister may have wanted more economy from the D.
They steel play a big roll in the development of most engines in cars,boats,planes.....ect.
I THINK the Recardo headed Lister D's are quite rare. A realy nice find I think
