Been having a think...(ow)

All the engine my grandad had over the years, I was woundering what happened to them? Apart from the odd few most disapeared never to be seen again, (well one did go France!)

I now know where 2 of our sold on engine are (maybe 3).

does anyone keep tabs on the ones they sold or seen them pop up in odd places! I know one thats done a fair few miles!

Cheers Steve

ive sold 5 to one fella in wales...

he puts them in a 40ft trailer that hes cut the axels off and sat it on the floor...
he is leaving them there for his pension....

good idea as thay will never go down in price only go up.....

hes a wise old fella..well hes not that old at 48......taught me a thing or to though....

he has got the trailer half full...hes got all sorts in there from Lister's to open cranks....

the biggest is a 2 1/4 hp amanco.....

thats ok if you have the room to store the trailer and its got to be in a safe place....

regards.....mike.

i sold an old villiers 2 stroke engine that i had restored many years ago at a rally, we went to the car museum at holker hall in the lake district last year and it is sat on a shelf in there, i couldnt believe it!
apparently it had been donated by a chap about the time i sold him it.
