The paints now hardend off for me to start putting it back together.
Made a trolley for it fitted engine block on to see how it al looket, fuel tank sits under engine.
All gasget faces need cleaning and flywheels I will do this as I go along.
As you can see the engine had got dropped when being delivered end split the side of the engine block, I cleaned everything up V the joint out and stuck it in the oven .
What some crap cast iron the engines made of ,I managed to sort it out after the third attempt just kept cracking. Now welded both sides and the inside I coved right over the weld to give a bit more strengh.
Here's a couple of photos so far

Mike the yanks do have very fast broadband, the computers they use are years old as they don't need fast pc's because of the fast broadband. News is were about to get fast broadband in this area it has to be faster then what we have now, yet we shouldn't complain we have electricty to all the houses not like Pete. lol! lol! lol!

Been there, done that Matt. The Daily Sketch or The Daily Mirror were the best paper's for that purpose at that time, or you could buy Izal toilet paper which was like wiping your nether regions with a piece of hardboard! pale Ash closet's would have been the norm where Stu was brought up I reckon.

Pete.

Yes Pete we still get the ash men coming round every week to empty them although we call them the midden men. The Izal paper used to come in a box and you only got one sheet at a time, we had them at school and the toilets at school were outside as well, never had a warm seat till I was about 8 and we moved and I went to a new school, what luxury.

Stu.
