Just a thought, and all you experts out there will need to put there brains into gear and help the novice.

What I'm thinking about is a section (sticky) that will supply data for engines. I've looked though some books today and they are as clear as mud, why can't they put a section in the back with all the info you need to know.

Big end torque settings, main bearing torque settings, valve clearance, head nut torque settings, points and plug settings the list could go on. Well what I think would be a good idea is have all of these under one heading so it would only take a few minutes to look up on this site not hours going through books.

So anyone like to set the ball rolling with maybe Lister D or Wolseley settings, anything that's not relavent to the list WILL be removed.

What do you think???

Stu.

Thanks for that Chris, I'll see how many others are willing to help before I sort it out. I think it's a good idea but others are a little shy in helping or should I set it out and see if I get some response then?
