another one sneaked in the trailer today ....

as some of you know kingsley show has just gone at the weekend and i managed to sell the wd2 for a profit and buy another engine for a good price i would say ..... have to blame mike ... was walking around with him and the words followed " get it bought boy " came out of his mouth ..... i tell you what he is a bad influence lol

Come on it's not the missus your talking to now, spill the beans and let us know what that big bad Mike forced you into buying

cleaned the carb out yesterday and made a temporary trolley took all of 10 minutes to make as you can see .

i have been learning ... and hopefully the bamford will be proffit making too

I do like them twin flywheeled Bamford's if my back was good I'd have one myself, better engine then the Lister D's, Pt WD in my opinion. In fact i't's all I need to make the set

annmarie says she prefers the wd2 compared to the bamford .... i dont it just the note of it and the twin small flywheels . i know they are a heavy beast though , i thought i could get away without having a crane for a while but i think im going to have to invest in one ... or build 2 large a frames and use my winch inbetween the engine and crossbar ....

i would sell it probally in due time but want to restore it 1st and rally it for a bit , Mike in time i will overtake you lol think that will be in 5 years though ... but 1 thing will not overtake you in pumps

as you list them as """ another one in the trailer """ lol lol

but i would say it will take up less room than the wd you sold
i have my eye on a eg1 complete and a eg3 in kitform but looks all there
will have to see the tree at the bottom of my garden first if any pound notes are ready to spend

Mike I said I like the Bamford not I wanted to buy one, if a young un like that say's it's heavy what the hell can I do with it. Anything to help with lifting engines is always worth the work and investment to save you doing a mischief

Kev your right an understanding wife is always helpful only problem you sometimes have to get through a few till you find the right one

Is that the kit form one on ebay ?

i doubt it will take up less room than the wd2 as the wd2 has gone but the trolley and pump has stayed , the lister d will be going on that , and will be having another trolley made up for the eg1 , but then i have got a spare wheel barrow trolley to hand .... bit too small for the A to sit on
