Acquired a Holden and Brooks centrifugal pump from a local cow farm who are clearing out one of the buildings and dismantling some of the old machinery.
They don't no what the pump was used for or how old it is, So i was hoping for some help.

The building that they are clearing out is the old corn mill so i am also getting the 2 corn grinders but they may not arrive till next year.

Well done Kev some great finds saved from the scrapyard. I'm the same I've not seen a pump like that, I think the smaller pumps a lot of companies made them, so you may have a task on your hands trying to trace it, so good luck and keep us informed on the pump and the corn mills.

Stu.

Nice little pump. Looks like it has been direct coupled to an engine or motor. Could be a Stuart but it could be any of a number of manufacturers. There may be more information on it once cleaned up.

Good weight in the mills!

The owner of the farm has been working there for 40 years and all that time these pumps and machines have been run off 3 phase motors.
The corn mills are to heavy for 2 people to lift so quite heavy. Will definitely have to be put on a trolley.
