Will be 4, they didnt make a 3 bolt head on the water cooled 2 strokes.

Like this one?

my new toy. Stuart-3

They are a bit heavier then the R3, wouldn't like to carry one to far! also a bit bigger, I have a P4 on cast base, they need a good mag otherwise they are next to useless!

Dont go breaking a indutral P5, not as many about as the P4.

The purple one is a Scott, about the same size as a P5 but the as heavy as a R3, there is about 20 known but have been up for sale lately around the £200-£300 mark.

Liquid metal mate, much safer, my Stuart N was frosted, and welded back up quite well.

my new toy. _1070177

It was covered in filler but I like battle damage, shows the history of the engine.

There a nice little engine if you can find one! I paid £125 for mine as a runner.

Will have to wair to morning, pic blocked in work, from what I have see and read I would say its a P5MC, which is a marine unit with a centrifugal clutch, AFAIK they were fitted with an impulse magneto.

Cheers Steve

It looks similar to the one that I had Steve, except mine had the clutch brake fitted and maybe the carb is slightly different although mine was stripped when I got so cant be certain. A SR1 with impulse was fitted to mine.

Pete.

Why would you want to do that? Impulse makes it easier to start them, they can be bastards!
