Lister A finished after 2 years !
The finished Engine after around 2 years ... well has been on a temporary trolley for a while and rallied

Looking great mate you going to bring it down to Ringwood Carnival for me then oh and give us some closer pics of the trolley metal work mate

Yes Abes i could bring it down ... Nothing like a nice Hardwood trolley to set everything off is there !

No problem mate , its from a local joinery . Cash as allways cheaper and will send through the thicknesser too.

Thats a terrific looking set up - and I think the finish looks great - real character and that oily rag look I admire. I hope to see it at a rally one day.

I know, sorry but for the life of me I fail to see the point in leaving engines "As found" it isn't original, it isn't nice to look at and it isn't the right thing to do.
Having said that it does look nice as it is but for me, I'd paint it.

we all have our own opinions Rob , some of my engines has been painted some have been left ... late more have been left .

To be honest i hate painting engines .... it makes the restoration so much longer waiting for paint to dry and harden off then flatten back etc etc . Yes if done well does looks the dogs nuts but alot of effort .
