Small engine from the States

Post by Guest on Tue Feb 14 2012, 14:23

Trying to work out how viable it is to bring a small engine over from the States, the engine is only about 25 lbs, anyone had anything that size imported? a few of the online jobs iv tried have given me quotes of 250+

best thing to do is go on the internet and look for shipping companies in the states, mind you if its 25lb send it with FedEx
they do world wide shipping,as its only light compared to most engines...

Steve if you go for it make sure he drains all fuel and oil ,there can't even be a smell of it ,get him to put some air freshners in with it as well.
If customs smell anything when they check it they will impound it and you will both get a fine
