Any idea which Villiers?
I've just bought this on ebay. I know it's an old Villiers but don't know which model. I haven't collected it yet so I don't know if there are any numbers / identifiers on it. Anybody got any ideas?

Needs an exhaust and, surprise, surprise, a tank and brackets.

Yes a MK 15, the only Over Head Valve Villiers, apart from the diesels of course. There is a siezed one at the farm where I store my caravan, but the farmer wont part with it because "it will be valuable one day", yeah, not in your lifetime it wont!

Re: Any idea which Villiers?
Fetched it today Turns over nice and free. I'll be seeing my brother-in-law tonight to ask him if he can cut me some steel to make up tank straps. Anyone got any idea of the optimum length for each strap, given that I shall try and get a few dozen to fit different engines/tanks. They will need to be bent and drilled but it might help a few people out on here.

Re: Any idea which Villiers?
Another Villiers to identify. Not the greatest of pics. Engine is marked 18 8B 81 379. The carburettor is a V648C. I believe it is a two stroke and from the size I would reckon around 100cc to 150cc. Probably the lower. It's not a Midget and I don't think that it is a 541 either.
