Having a few problems Empty Having a few problems

Hello all
Ive recently purchased a ruston hornsby pt and im in two minds if the starting handle is the original as when i turn it over it slips off and hits me in the face or i punch the cart and a few times as i turn it over it flys back and nearly snaps my wrist.
Also ive had it running but it won't run now and when i turn it over i can here a grating noise but i cant see anything wrong
any advice and pictures would be grately appriceated. Smile

Sorry can't help you as my PT handle is a home made job also. They don't seem to be for sale on ebay either so I don't know where there all at. I could take a pic of mine but it's not that good.

Stu.
