My lister D type shaft drive.

Post by jay on Sun May 06 2012, 18:55

Well managed to get a reasonable priced Lister D type shaft drive...

Bought as a non runner and 2 mins clean of the points once home(it was 9pm so only a 2 min run so far)It ran loverly..
Post better pics up once its daylight..
plan is to find a proper water top as currently a rad/tank top fitted and a clean and repaint..
think it dates to late 1930

Good find Jay you must be very happy with it. Am I right in thinking that the early D's were a different shade of green and not Mid Brunswick.
