just got this to add to an ever f=growuing collection of engines..
at this rate i will have to start charging admision..lol..lol
never seen one before...
one down 3 to go.....lol.lol..

well funny you should say that kev..ive enquired about a bigger on..24foot long...
waiting to see what happens with the other 3 i put an offer on..

You will enjoy in the guts of this little baby. Runs on a stepped piston or top hat piston, slim end runs the engine fat end runs the vacuum pump for milking cows etc.

Well done Mike not too many of them lying about the country.

then out of the blue my offer was excepted
its on ive never seen,there was one a few years ago at astrel park so im told..
but never been seen since..the feller is selling up his collection
just as the feller who i got the Galloway and monitor from....

Some years ago now there was a Taylor next to me at Tatton Park but do not recall seeing a Taylor at Astle but it is a big engine area.

Owner mixed a bit of oil in with the fuel to lubricate the vacuum end, no idea of ratios etc. or if it was necessary even. May be best to find out before you start to play with it.

I know it's not the same but on old buses with vacuum brakes the vains on the impeller used to stick and if you put a bit of oil in them it helped to free them off. So maybe if it's damp put a drop or two of light oil in to help stop them sticking. Just a thought and I could be wrong so like Billy says check first.
