Villiers mk 20 carb
G'day just looking for a bit of advice on a viliers mk 20 carby, dont know what the brass ring is for on the inside of unit? any info much appreciated.

if its about were the intake is, and it has a grove down one side and i steped down in outer sizes ,and the long brass center piece goes trough the center of it into the float bowl ,
**then it the "throat choke" for the compensating tube jet system ,as this part is changed for the different engines that they fitted this style carb too mate
as they were on villiers's from about 98cc mk10 to 256.5cc on the mk25
and also machined different again for the petrol /paraffin vapourizer engine----------------------as here on my mk25 avatar pic-------------------->
