Hi Guys,
I just wish to confirm a couple of points with regard to this engine.
I was led to believe it was a 1919 engine, but I know one of the guys on here said it was later. I know it was supplied to a local farmer in north devon where it stayed all it's life, until it was sold to a local guy in barnstaple who is the manager of an agricultural agents (blakewells) who took over from the original supply co., Squires of barnstaple. Apart from a few repairs to barrel and cylinder head it is original, even the timber runners it sits on. The engine no. is, 136478. cheers david.

The guy I bought it off has had it approx 8 years.

forgot to mention, it has a wico flickmag like i have never seen b4 Very Happy Shocked

My memory has gone again but I think it's Ray Hooley you need to contact and he should give you the details you need. If I'm onto the wrong guy sorry and I'm sure someone will correct me and tell you the correct person with all the Ruston engine history.

Stu.
