Sorry to bother you guys again. I have the magneto off but am having difficulty removing the armature plate. The problem is the screw behind the coil near the ignition lead terminal hole. I just can't budge it. Any ideas? Cheers

Good news. Finally managed it using a spanner on a hex shafted screwdriver to provide the required force. Now I have to work out how to access the condenser.
