Villiers Mark 10 - me again

Post by bluedog on Thu Nov 15 2012, 09:02

Sorry to bother you guys again. I have the magneto off but am having difficulty removing the armature plate. The problem is the screw behind the coil near the ignition lead terminal hole. I just can't budge it. Any ideas? Cheers
Greg

Sounds like another problem for Kev's help. If no one replies in a few days try sending kevjhnsn a pm.

Good news. Finally managed it using a spanner on a hex shafted screwdriver to provide the required force. Now I have to work out how to access the condenser.
