The only details that i have on the pumps is what is on the pictures, they are both vacumm pumps one an AB Manus the other is an Alfa Laval. Both of which could or was used for milking parlours.

If anyone can help me with details i would be most gratefull.

Yes AB Manus and Alfa Laval are both vaccuum pumps used for milking machinery!

Seem to have good pumps too!

Hi all,

I fell lucky with both pumps, The Manus pump i got for £1 of ebay about a year ago, The Alfa pump i got for nowt from a mate up the road as it was in his way.

Some of my toys Empty Alfa Laval pump

Hi all,

Just got the above pump cleaned at work and found a brass plate with patent nos on it, 23 patent nos on it ranging from 1957 - 1986, so i would date it after 1986.

Would anyone agree with me on that.
