Hants & Dorset Vintage Machinery Preservation Group

Post by blackvanman on Sat Dec 29 2012, 11:11

Initially, just a facebook group for the Hampshire & Dorset area's, a way of sharing local events, photo's etc for now, but if enough interest is gained then maybe it could form something more club like in the future Smile

Group page here.

Sounds like a great idea Andy, sort of a test the water and see how many's in your area and how much interest there'd be in a proper club.

Andy the problem with a club everyone just wants to show up at a rally and no one wants to do the work. The club I'm a member of nobody is willing to help out just the same 6 everytime out of a few hundred members. So if your planning anything don't expect much help or plenty that say they will but nothing else comes of it. So just make sure you've help before planning anything and end up getting dropped in it.
