Hi all I have just purchased a Goodwin deep well pump. As you can see from the pics its not the usual A type, has anyone got any info on these? I plan to get it pumping and paint it the same colour as my Wolseley and rally it along side my other Godwin pump. What do we think? Cheers Dan

Nice looking pump, something different to all the Lister pumps we see.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, I'm hoping to pick it up today. I'll know more on the condition etc when I get my paws on it.
Cheers Dan

Well it was in better condition than expected and the seller even found the foot valve. I took the piston cups out and put them in warm water for a couple of hours to soften them up cleaned up the valves and made a temporary stand for it to sit on. It pumps quite well for a single acting pump, I plan to mount it on a bar stool as I know wheres one going free!

Very good. & I love that tank cooled Wolseley. I don't think I've ever seen one before, in fact I didn't even know they made tank cooled ones of those.

A really nice engine that one. 👍
