im trying to find some details about a recent capel engine i brought not sure on the age or the hp can any one help

Got any pictures? A good shot of all sides plus close-up's of any markings would be a good start.

I'm sure someone will know something, but without even a description, it doesn't give us much to go on.

(& we all love to see some engine pictures Very Happy )

Not everything on Grace's Guide should be taken as gospel (there are a few mistakes on there) but that's a very good place to start. I love the picture on there too, they made some very nice little engines Capel. They seemed to put the extra care & attention to detail in that companies like Lister never managed to do. Lovely engines.

Hi dan does your engine have a name plate on the cylinder head I've got a vertical capel here but missing its name plate would you be interested in possibly getting yours cast in brass and we could rub out the engine number on mine I would send you the money to do it a lot to ask I know but this would complete my engine
