I know of this event, but it seems to be a tad expensive for buyers to pay £3.00, and from £10.00 for sellers. it is getting the same all over with hyped up prices. normally i am prepared to pay a small fee, but not £3.00 for buyers. It seems that organisers of these events are getting a tad greedy cheers David.

Senior,

I'm glad you have cheap-to-enter events down your way.

Round here prices can be 3x yours, eg public entry £10 and a jumble pitch for £30.

But the charge for parking only (I read about somewhere) is a new one.

I was at Enstone on saturday, and was charged £7.00 for a large trailor. Public entry was £2.00 this was not bad at all, and not a million miles from you either, But then It has been many years since I attended events up your neck of the woods, (excuse the pun) so would not know charges. cheers David.

I don't mind paying if there's something there. it's when you pay out and find maybe 10 stalls and half of them have nothing to do with the theme of the event.

I quiet agree Stu.

I'll more than likely go along, but I'll be miffed if half the stalls are the contents of peoples lofts & stairs cupboards.

I have heard of people asking at the entrance exactly what stalls there are, but of course you have to be willing to walk away.

Woody I've put the link so it now works. Also reading the web page about the auto jumble it says "Anything antique or old!" now that opens it up to alsorts of junk out of peoples sheds, and will someone be checking to see if it's old or just junk? Thing is it's for a good cause so the £3 is worth it's money to go to a worth while project not to swell someones pockets.
