I am told with mamods best to buy the uk made models from a few yrs ago as the modern ones are made abroad and just packaged here - where it says made in the uk on the box, it is what it says - the box is made here?

i got one that used to be my dads when he was a kid , it needs a bit of work to get going again , but its a origonal so im not selling it . It takes pride on the lounge shelves .

i have got a big collection of mamod and wilesco models i would be able to tell you what most of them are.
I was never aloud to keep stationary engines whilst living at my parents so i collected these instead.
If you post pictures i will let you no.

well its with sad regret im selling my mamod collection so soon.so may sell or swap for another engine some difrent from my lister d & my lister f & wolsley wd2.some thing lighter warter cooled hopper or tank cooled like a petter w1 or a wx11.wot you got to offer for my collection.iv got 2 steam boats as well.will try get some pics up asap.

Mamod challenger is my favourite, It will pull 14KG with ease on flat ground, only traction letting it down.
