Can anyone date a Lister, the only number I can find is 32AHL and W11671.
I believe this is a Wisconsin made under licence but cannot find much information about these engines let alone a handbook.
Many thanks

Hi I think what you have is a Lister ABL, I think they are quite rare.

The clue is in the number!Smile   You have a Lister AHL which as you say is a Wisconsin design, the L being added by Lister to the Wisconsin AH numbering.  They produced between 3.75 - 6.25 HP  depending on rpm.  I own a Wisconsin AK myself which is similar looking to the Lister ABL but has a larger bore. Manuals are usually obtainable from American ebay.

Pete.
