Petter A1 Magneto coupling dimensions

Does anyone know the dimensions of the magneto coupling for a Petter A1. I have lost mine (don't ask) and need to make a new one.

Also what material would be best/easiest to use?

The coupling is the same size as the outside dimension of the impulse coupling on the magneto, as for material, it needs to be something that isn't going to wear out quickly so maybe some sort of hard plastic. Or better yet, see if someone has one you can buy.

i have seen them been made from a chopping board before !

Great, thanks guys. My long suffering brother-in-law will have a go making one from Delrin or UHMW...see how it goes. No doubt as soon as it is made the original will appear.

Does anyone know what material the original magneto coupling would have been made of?

From memory it was a fibre composite material on A type Petters and rubber with a metal band on Wolseley engines
