Sign up to the IF web site, wall charts are on there for downloading as there isn't a manual as such(to simple to need one).

Hi Paul - I'm in a similar situation - Internal Fire website has Raymond of Petternut fame attached - and although I haven't bought it yet i see that the SEM Petter M magazine available on multiple sites including ebay has useful exploded view diagrams.....perhaps this will help.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stationary-Engine-Magazine-on-Petter-M-Type-Book/111116397178?_trksid=p3984.m2048&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D129%26meid%3D443410729616404356%26pid%3D100022%26prg%3D1108%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D200948517590%26

If I find more I'll happily share - as of yet I am deciding if i should take a friends old knacker of a restoration project or go out on ebay for a 4HP M type...... I'm assuming you have your engine already?

best

Hamish

Crud - I might of sent you in the wrong direction - the book with the exploded diagrams is this one.....

Just to correct, it is Roland, rather than Raymond who is on the IF forums and used to run the Petternut site.

Both the book links you highlight are recommended for an M type owner.
Cheers Dave
