Hello again

What are your recommendations for trolley wheels? I have dispelled the idea of cast iron wheels as they seem to be very rare in my part of the country (S Yorkshire). So it looks like being rubber ones! Any input would be welcome.

Thanks again.

Personally, I don't like rubber wheels on an engine trolley. Apologies for my lack of geographical knowledge, but Yorkshire is big sheep country, and all the old hay racks had nice cast iron disc wheels. I'm sure there must be plenty lying in hedges and ditches. Have a drive/walk around one day and see what you can find! Smile

Yes Yorkshire is a massive area the what must be thousands of miles of hedgerows! However, I have yet to find one with cast iron wheels in it! Until I do the plan is to buy some or something that will do the job.
Where are you Matt? And what sort of money are you wanting for the ones you have? PM me the details please.
