Yes eventually, but neither have run for a while so my main aim is to get them going.

Got the JAP mounted on a skid and hooked up to a small grinder/buffer, as you can see the little fella is delighted.

Re: 1 For Me and 1 for my Boy
looking and sounding well
just concerned with the grinder sparks heading for the carb and fuel tank petrol warm engine or weather flamable gases venting from tank cap
id put a twist in the belt ,grinder sparks will then be heading down and away from engine area and your eyes ect
only a little thing of conserne, after all thats my thinking , your display and your call mate
wait for the wolseley that must be next on the todo list for winter nights that are a coming in fast

Thanks Kev I had that concern too and thought about putting a twist in the belt but actually when it's all mounted on the skid the grinding wheel is well offset from the engine more than it appears to be in the video. I may change it in the future if we take it to any shows.kevjhnsn wrote:looking and sounding well

I'm not sure what I'm doing with the Wolseley yet, I don't think I'll be painting any of the engines as I quite like the old beaten up look.
Cheers

Re: 1 For Me and 1 for my Boy
I took Kev's advice and put a twist in the belt and it seemed to be running ok, but after thinking about it for a while I decided that it actually ran better without the twist in the belt and that it looked neater. Also for all the grinding that'll be getting done on it I thought I'd put it back as it was, well I set it up with the belt slightly slacker.
