G'day, ive got a couple of old villiers mark 12 and 12/2 engines that arent sparking but give you a decent kick from turning them over. im a truck mechanic so im not too familiar with the old ignition systems on these. just wonering what voltage condensor they would run and point gaps etc.

thanks in advance:?:

6v condensers usually work in them
and i usually set points to around 16-18" tho seam a happy medium with mine
but just sounding like the contacts and point need a good clean up or try a different sparkplug or close the gap to around 2mm
give this a try and if still no joy let us know and see what you found out from these tips
