Conord F2 new toy

Post by Matth92 on Sun Jan 12 2014, 18:41

Its happened again.....AGAIN!!

1934 Conord F2 5 hp, it runs but needs a minor bit of work, including re-tapping the water drain bung thread, and its missing the float needle, float chamber lid, and rad and petrol tank caps, I like it, nice original paint too

I was watching that and intended having it , but the sellers continued explanation that the lids will be supplied even though that was on the third re-listing made me think that once bought the lids would never appear, plus he mentioned that they could be sold to the new owner put me off aswell !! nice engine though and fully intend owning one one day.

I can turn up the lid for the float bowl no problem, and will probably put a brass sleeve in the radiator lid and make a cap to fit, as there isn't much of the thread left in there, will come good one day!
