The collection's growing already. Unsure about Brunswick Green though, it seems to vary!?

Hi guys,
So here it all is:
My Dad's engine, the Petter diesel project on the back shelf (literally and metaphorically.)
The generator project and the Lister Domestic Pump:

The engine and the pump don't match in their green colour though, is that "right?" Are they both Brusnwick Green or not? Which is correct? (I prefer the darker green of the engine but am wondering if it's "right.")

light =mid and dark brunswick green
the pump is light brunswick and the lister A is dark bruns
lister engines were painted what ever colour was available to be delivered at time of being needed ,yellow battle ship grey red even blacks were used
so there you go this was to to me by some old guys from the lister A-B-D engine production shed

The generator is a great unit. I painted it today and it looks great.
It's 1.3kw and the whole back half of the unit is transformer to create 240v AC which is fairly convenient.

It has three wires coming out of it. Two thick ones which are the DC connection for the automatic starting feature (simply making it run as a motor.) Two medium wires which inside connect to the transformer so I assume these are the AC connections for the generator output and a third mystery wire which I had assumed was an earth but it is not. Any ideas?

Your engine certainly looks lighter. It's either light or mid I guess. Looks great either way!

very handy generator indeed,
I have a generator off a WWII aircraft (i've got a post about it on the driven equipment board) it too has three wire coming out of it. Mine are marked with what looks like G+ G- and S. so in short i can't help with the mystery third wire but join your campaign to find out Laughing but after connecting a voltmeter to the generator and spinning it over by hand I did get a reading from G+ and G- so those must be positive and neutral.

Everything's painted now and looks more like a set.
