I want to remove and renew the dog thingy for the starting handle on my WD2, can anybody tell me how to do this please? It has worn down a bit over the years and still does the job, but I want to give the shaft a good clean up and it gets in the way. See image below for the offending dog whatsit.  Smile
Thanks in advance.
Steve.

I think (from memory) it's a 3/8 whit stud so just unscrew it.

Thanks guys. I thought it may be a stud, I'll have a go at removal when I get some more 'shed time'.
