Hello
      Have not long bought my Ruston Hornsby and have run it on the TVO that came with it when I bought the engine, I now need to mix some more TVO I know it's a mix of petrol and 28 second heating oil, but can some one tell me the correct ratio please

By rights now you need a licence to mix TVO but your engine, what is it?AP? PB? Will run on 28sec heating oil without mixing. These engines are designed to run on Paraffin, not TVO, the clue is in the name, TRACTOR vaporizing oil, if you find it doesn't run that well on 28 sec then add a little petrol till it does. If it is a PB (3hp and above) then change the oil regular.

Should run on 28sec easy enough, brother runs his 6AP on it no problem.
