Hi all,

I have got a Stuart Turner R3MC. I don't really know anything about the engine. I can't get it to run. It has a strong spark, fuel in. I'm not sure where the best place go start with the mixture selling is. Any help to gety engine going would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Aron

Hi Aron,

I'm no marine engine expert so I can only point you in the direction of some good guys. There is a club called the Thames Vintage Boat club - they have a website and list an operation manual for your engine (18 pages in A5 format) - and probably have some experts who could help if the boys and girls on here aren't able to assist.

http://www.thamesengines.co.uk/8.html

Scrol down the page to see your engine listed.

good luck!

let us all know how you get on - is it in a boat?

Best

Hamish

Thanks, I have a manual now but it doesn't give any instruction on the most likely mixture setting.
I will get there in the end.
Thanks,
Aron
