Wico magneto strip down Empty Wico magneto strip down

Hi all, I brought a Wico series A mag from ebay a couple of years ago and it is seized solid and pretty rusty, the seller said it had good spark! was wondering if it is possible to strip down and sort out. I have brought the service parts list and special instructions from wico electric company but I fear once I have taken it apart I may not be able to get it back together again without detailed instructions. Can any one recommend any other literature I can get to help me with this? My thoughts are nothing ventured nothing gained.
Many thanks

I'm not a magneto expert but I'm sure if you take it apart taking lots of photos as you go you will be fine.
Don't leave the amateur out of the magnet for long even if you just rest it in place or use a suitable item as a 'keeper'.
