hi everyone i have a lister d driving a sawbench i converted it from flat belt to vee belt now it wont start with the the vee belt on as soon as you take the vee belt off it starts no problem anybody any idea why this might be      many thanks    danarmdave        (dangermandave)

my be because of the belt you can't get enough speed when cranking?

that's my thinking, it would certainly make cranking harder not good for the bearing either.

hi i have made a brammer belt and its very slack but does not make any difference dave k i have been told that a plug can spark when out and when in but put under load it can fail ?
