Villiers Mk10 - Repaint

Post by Ally's_Engines on Thu Oct 16 2014, 19:36

I am repainting my Villiers Mk10 and I don't know how to properly strip and repaint it. It may seem a bit daft but some help would be great,

Thanks

standard thinner or gun wash usually will get the oil and old paint to come off easyest, either electric wire bushes in a drill, or for the tin work shotblasting if you have access to one ,as there are some well orkward bits to get into on the inside,

Hi Ally,
Good advice from Kev as usual, but if you are prepared to spend a few quid look around for a local firm offering a Vapour Blasting service. Less aggressive than shot blasting so safer for aluminium parts.
