Petter cement mixer

Hi  from Australia

I have this cement mixer project . I think the motor is a Petter A1 ? The motor is running

The wheels look like Prefect 16 " . I am looking for a manual for the Petter . Picking it up soon

Ha Ha It has been getting warmer the last few weeks , the days are around mid 20's C at the moment . The really hot days arrive after XMAS , gets up to over 40 C You are welcome to it , jump onto a plane and come over .

Would love to since we have friends around Melbourne and Sydney, but I can't face the 24 hours in a tin can. Hong Kong was only just bearable.

My mixer is home. The Motor is type A1VO  ?  Im not sure what that means. It is a 3hp motor

its a a1 with the VO/vapourizing oil manifold fitted ,it crosses the air into the engine with the heat from the exhurst out, to vapourize the heavy oil into a more combustable vapour for the spark plug to ignite,so you would start on petrol in the same compartment in the tank or bolted to the side of the tank and then when warmed up switch the 3 way tap over to the larger compartment to run on either a petrol/paraffin mixture or
kerosene, keresene,heating oil,  lamp oil ect back in the day
but it will run all day on just petrol in the larger compartment in  twin  fuel tank/or tanks

The motor runs very nicely - it looks very rusty and uncared for , it needs a good clean up and a paint job . The mixer looks to be from the 1950's , a very strong machine with a nice large capacity .

the petter engines of old and new all seam to work hard and last well, unless you forget to add oil , then like all others they suffer

The Petter mixer has been moved into position. The plan is to concrete the floor of the little shed extension. My CS 6/1 Indian Lister is going into its new home soon, that little shed The Land Rover is the same vintage as the mixer

I am requesting a link to a download , or a copy of the manual for my Petter A1VO engine. The serial number ( 554386 )suggests the engine was made between 1948-51 a series 2 engine .

This manual may be the correct one ?
