Thanks guys, I will post progress as and when there is enough worthy of a post. The wolseley is up first.

Well heres the progress so far, I have unseized it, removed the stuck exhaust valve, and stripped it down to this point, ready for a good set to with various brushes, a teaspoon to help scoop out the congealed oily gunk, and a tin of paraffin. flywheel was a pain to get off but gave in eventually thanks to the help of a good mate.

The water jacket with cover removed. Not a pretty sight .

at least yours doesn't have compost in the hopper!
are you planning on doing an oily rag job or full repaint?

full repaint mate, well to the best of my abilities. haha.
