Recently liberated from the back of my fathers garage is the engine in the link below. With liberal oiling it now turns quite well, but with good compression. Petrol tank is missing, and the 'starting handle' bolt through the flywheel removed for safety. Struggling to get a spark but not had a good look at the mag yet.

No makers name or decals visible so far....

pic aint at the best angle to aid me ,a few at differing angles and close up of underside and gears always helps

My guess is a Lion, a couple of photos sent in to SEM will confirm what it is.
