Hello,

I have a villiers stationary engine of about 5hp with a B10 Carb. The engine starts and runs for about 30 seconds until fuel starts dripping from the carb, the engine starts hunting and then stalls out. Any ideas what is wrong and how I fix it?

The engine ran fine a few years ago but now I have this problem......

Thanks in advance

Sounds like either the float and/or fuel needle valve may be sticking.

Thanks for the replies, I have since taken it apart - and found an exploded drawing.

And I have discovered two things, no gaskets and that the float is in upside down! I hope to remedy both faults this afternoon and see where that gets me.
