What is your favourite rally, crankup or event?    My choice is Astle Park on a dry weekend, closely followed by a local event at Ladybank in Fife, ten minutes from my house.

Hi All, Yes Astle Park followed by Lincoln . Ive been to Driffield for many years ,but the exhibitor/ public camping has gone beyond a joke so I am giving it a miss for a bit.
Ive started going back to the Anglesey rally now they have moved to the county show ground it`s a much better site.

Lincoln and Astle Park (the 1000 engine rally, not the steam fair) also both Woodcote and the White Horse Show are friendly event's to exhibit at.

Pete.

Haven,t shown at 1000 engine only visited but looked great! I used to show at Lincoln, (wolseley wd 8-lister D, petter A1), but had to stop due to ill health, however when visiting 3 years ago I asked if there was any chance of returning and my details were taken but I was told that the chances were slim Sad so when the invite to this years rally fell through the door I was ecstatic!! my other best show would be Elvaston castle I think.

Cheers, Pete.

@ Tony:  I'm sorry you won't be at Malpas, it won't be quite the same this year without our discussions on the finer points of life, like 60s blues/rock music and which burger van to dine at!   Smile   Anyway, I hope you have a good time 'down south'; perhaps I'll see you at the 1000 Engine rally beforehand, if you're going?

@ Kev:  No doubt I'll see you before then Kev, it's about time we had a brew and a catch up before the rally season starts properly.

Hi Jules, I`m sorry to miss Malpas this year, but I`ve been involved with Malpas fot the last fourteen years, but we`ll get together at the 1000 engine and put the world to right.
