I know what it is.... Its brilliant!

But I cant help identify - I'm no specialist:) - Although it does look Amanco like...

Keep us informed - it looks great.

Hi Hamish...yup your are correct...amanco chore boy...in bits at the moment and primed awaiting painting but engine is complete except for a fuel tank which is in the process of being made...not a bad buy for £400.00....even got a good spark!

Looks like a 3 Mule Team - Nice project for a good price.
Keith Smigle's site is very good   [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If you click on the link 'Associated Photo Album' you will find all the models listed.

David Edgington's Amanco book is well worth a read, and if you ask nicely he may sign your copy...  http://stationaryenginebooks.co.uk/product/amanco-engines/

Thanks Dave...after a bit of a clean of the brass plate looks like you are right 3mules (for sister Sarah?) thanks for the links...it would appear that the spark plug/mag combo was to try and make starting easier in our slightly damper weather....all cleaned now and in bits ready for its coats of red...just waiting for better shed weather!
