Key way connection between flywheel and camshaft Villiers Mk15 possible?
Dear forum members,
As most of the Villiers engines have no key way in the cranck shaft the timing of the ignition is not so easy.
Therefore I'm thinking to make a key way connection between flywheel and cranckshaft.
Don't want to ruin a good flywheel / cranckshaft; seems these are not easy to get.
Has someone already tried to make a key way connection for Villiers engines?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Best regards,

if it was a good idea i think villiers would of done it, over the 80 yrs they used and suplied to other engine manufactures over the years, from there motor bike industrial and garden machine engines, of two and four strokes none never had them even when they changed over to wico mags towards the end of production in the uk and then 30 yrs later when villiers austraila final ended making engines in 2009
as it was the only way to advance and retard the timing for the spark
hope this helps
