Post by Mark2 Sun Nov 27 2016, 21:50

Hi I am a new member here, I have a Crossley which is either a 1040 or 1050 as I am unsure at the moment. The Crossley has the magneto missing which I understand is Hills Bros.
Question to you, The Hills Bros magneto is quite hard to get get hold off, is there any other makes that are compatible to Hills Bros magneto for the Crossley ? Hope you can help. Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for replying so quick, and thank you for the advice.
I also have a part missing which I am unsure what is the correct name, so I wil post a photo of it .Crossley and Magneto Dsc_0110

If you know what the missing part called, perhaps you may know if you or someone may help locating that part.

Thanks for your help,
Mark

The missing part is called a carburetor. Not going to work without one of them....
