Post by RAB on Sat Dec 10 2016, 19:12

Hi all,

Im looking at up dating the forum, this will mean removing some sections, does anyone want any particular sections to go or be replaced with something else.

Ditto to the above Rab, I'm afraid Facebook groups have taken over a lot of the stationary engine questions and answers
but there are still a lot in this forum that don't have Facebook and is a great source of info for them.

I've deleted my Facebook account and gone back to the forums as I'm sick and tired of the constant "want answer now" crap that goes on there.

Yes Rab I agree with Richard this forum is a wealth of info and is a good place for youngsters to get started in the hobby I like when you have problem and ask a question you have quite few answers and different opinions but the problem gets solved

Thanks Tony

Forums for Gentlemen - Facebook for the youth... both have their place but as said above the 'need an answer now' brigade need to learn that knowledge takes time and respect is free... plus whose in a rush in this hobby! - feel free to make any changes as you see fit Sir!

Best
