B S A 15 volt 300 watt
I have recently obtained a BSA 15volt 300watt it is painted a dark blue, i also have another one that does not come with a generator, i have been told that these were produced for the military, does anyone know what the military used the charging sets for, the other one without charging equipment is fitted with a reduction gearbox are there any ideas what this one could have been used for, both engines are 100 cc side valve and both are good runners, any information gratefully received. Thank You.

This an old post but just in case you are still looking for an answer -
These sets were used by the military to charge up 12v batteries for use with eg radios etc.
If you google them you should find some good photos of them in use.
All the best,
Kev.
