Carburateur Longuemare
Hope you don't mind but after the success with id'ing my Amal carb I have another one. It's a big heavy brass carb stamped Carburateur Longuemare No136908. I believe it to be early C1900. Its a shame I can't post pics yet but be interested to know if anyone has any info on Longuemare carbs.

Re: Carburateur Longuemare
After trawling the net last night I have seen this carb or very similar ones used on early tricycles and motor bicycles and and on the Richard Hornsby 6hp stationery engine. Going by the pipe work that is still attached to the carb I have I think that my one probably came from a motor bicycle. Sorry still not allowed to post pics or links.

Re: Carburateur Longuemare
Hello Xulih,
I,m currently restoring a 1905 Peugeot Motorcycle and have been search for a while for a Longuemare Carburetor.
I stumbled across this post and wondered if you still have the Carburetor, if so would you consider parting with it?
Thanks in advance.
