Help needed on Small petrol tank

Hi All,

Having recently started in the hobby I have l purchased an lister d k and it doesn't have the small round petrol start up tank does anybody now where I might get one and if I need it or can I just use the main tank and fill with petrol ??

Unless you intend making it work hard it wont get hot enough to run on TVO so petrol will suffice, finding a local supply of TVO may not be possible and its expensive if you do, otherwise take the top off your float chamber and fill with petrol and whe it gets low turn on the tank tap.
You could make your own TVO but I'm not sure of proporsions.

Made them in the past out of an old brasso tin. Not quite right, but does the job.
